Our Advanced Scrambling days are designed to bridge the gap between hiking and mountaineering. This isn't just a guided walk; it’s a masterclass in movement. We move away from the footpaths and onto the classic, roped lines of Eryri (Snowdonia), using professional techniques to make the "impossible" feel completely secure. THE CLASSROOM: OGWEN VALLEY We base these days in the legendary Ogwen Valley to maximize your time on the rock. Rich (our MCI) will choose the best route based on the weather and your goals. Potential lines include the soaring Cneifion Arête, the classic Idwal Buttress, or the hidden vertical lines of Tryfan’s East Face. MEET YOUR GUIDE: RICH (MCI) You’ll be in the expert hands of Rich, a fully qualified Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor (MCI). Rich is known for his calm, patient coaching style, he specializes in taking experienced hikers and giving them the confidence to move on Grade 2 and 3 terrain. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: If you have a decent head for heights and have enjoyed Grade 1 scrambles (Tryfan North Ridge / Crib Goch), you are ready for this. No previous rope-work experience is needed. We provide all technical gear (harnesses, helmets, and ropes). WHATS INCLUDED: Full day of expert MCI coaching (Strict 1:2 ratio). All technical safety equipment.
