Absolutely! Snowdon or Yr Wyddfa is the highest mountain in Wales at 1085 metres above sea level and is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting North Wales. Depending on your experience we can look at any of the main routes (Pyg, Miners, Llanberis, Ranger, Rhyd Ddu & Watkin) or even something more challenging like the South Ridge.

No special or climbing equipment is required for our hill & mountain walking days but having suitable clothing, footwear and emergency kit in your rucksack is very important. We recommend that you check the Adventure Smart UK kit list before you book and contact us using the button at the top of the page if you have any questions or concerns. We always discuss the kit required with you in advance of your booking.

Skin is waterproof! (And so are good jackets!) Jokes aside, we take safety very seriously. It is normal to expect various weather conditions on the mountains including sun, wind, rain, fog & low cloud. Having suitable clothing, footwear & emergency kit means that we can all stay comfortable & safe in these conditions. Even though we can deal with some inclement weather, there are times when it makes more sense to move the location to somewhere with a more favorable forecast, which we can agree on prior to the day. In very rare cases where the weather is too dangerous for your booking to go ahead then we will refer to our Booking Terms & Conditions, there is also a section regarding risk.

Children are welcome as paying participants along with their parent/guardian but we may have to tailor the day to suit the ability of any younger children, we recommend that you contact us before booking to double check using the button at the top of the page. Well behaved dogs that have experience of walking for a whole day are usually welcome but please check with us before booking, we require dog owners to abide by a code of conduct.
