A controlled environment for testing navigation, isolation, and decision-making under stress.
Operations are designed to introduce deliberate friction, remove comfort, and expose how you operate when conditions are less than ideal.
Expect minimal information. Outcomes are not guaranteed. Some will find it enjoyable. Most will not.
[ EXPERIMENT 000: THE SOLSTICE BLACKOUT ]

Parameters: A 24-hour forced disconnect conducted during the Summer Solstice at a withheld location in Eryri. Four participants will surrender all devices at the trailhead before moving into a remote, pathless environment. From that point on, there is no contact with the outside world.
Each will carry their own overnight bivi setup and remain off-grid for the full duration, experiencing the exact moment of the solstice in complete isolation.
Documentation: Eryri-based photographer Nick Livesey will embed with the group to quietly document the experience. No participant will carry a camera. Physical prints will be delivered following completion.
