Challenge Events: For my single-day endurance challenges, I recommend that you have completed a hike covering at least 50% of the target distance on similar terrain within the last couple of months. The Welsh 3000s & Hiraethog Trail: These are elite-level days. If you are booking these, your training should focus on sustained ascent and "time on feet" to prepare for 16–24 hours of movement. Mid-Way Support: For my premier single-day endurance challenges (like the 45k Sea to Summit), I typically arrange for a support vehicle to meet us at a strategic mid-way point. The Benefit of Support: This pit-stop allows you to refuel, drop or swap kit, and have a brief rest. It also serves as a mobile safety hub for the event. Please note that for insurance and legal reasons, I do not provide a taxi or shuttle service for participants. All transport arrangements are coordinated as part of the pre-event logistics.
