From the iconic knife-edge of Crib Goch to the surprise of joining the Llanberis path and the sheer scale of Y Lliwedd’s mighty cliffs, it doesn’t get better. This demanding 14km route involves 1200m of ascent and takes 7–8 hours. THE ROUTE: Meeting at Pen-y-Pass, we begin on the Pyg Track before branching off to scramble the exposed, stunning ridge of Crib Goch, the highlight of the day. We continue across Crib y Ddysgl to our second summit, Garnedd Ugain. After crossing the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), a steep descent via the Watkin Path leads us to the final challenge: the rocky, ridge-like peaks of Y Lliwedd, before returning to the Miners Track. CORE HIGHLIGHTS: Crib Goch Traverse: Navigate the most famous Grade 1 scramble in the UK under expert supervision. The Full Horseshoe: Complete the entire circuit, including the spectacular scrambling over Y Lliwedd. Small Group Safety: We maintain a strict 1:4 ratio for maximum safety and coaching on technical ground. WHY BOOK WITH MOUNTAIN CRAFT?
