It offers a perfect balance of accessible hill walking mixed with hands-on scrambling that is satisfying without being overly technical. This skyline journey runs the entire length of the valley and is a must for any mountain lover. THE ROUTE: Meeting in Rhyd Ddu, we traverse the ridge end-to-end to the village of Nebo. We follow the entire 15km line, crossing seven summits with 1000m of ascent. The highest point is Craig Cwm Silyn (734m). The terrain is a mix of rocky mountain paths, grassy ridges, and short-lived, simple scrambling—ideal for those looking to build confidence on "hands-on" terrain. CORE HIGHLIGHTS: Seven Summit Traverse: Complete the ridge in its entirety, covering every major peak from Y Garn to the final descent.
