This itinerary is the perfect option for fit mountain walkers who want to complete this legendary route at a more manageable pace than the 24-hour challenge. We break the route into the three logical mountain ranges: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), The Glyderau, and The Carneddau. THE ROUTE AND EXPERIENCE This challenge includes the iconic traverse of Crib Goch on Day 1 and the rugged scrambles of the Glyderau on Day 2. While these sections are technical and exposed, our 1:4 guide-to-client ratio ensures you have professional support and coaching every step of the way. This is an ideal way to experience these famous ridges with the safety of an expert leader. THE ITINERARY • Day 1: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Range – 12km | 900m ascent | 7 hours. Featuring Crib Goch, Garnedd Ugain, and Yr Wyddfa. • Day 2: The Glyderau – 15km | 1700m ascent | 8-9 hours. Featuring Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, and Tryfan. • Day 3: The Carneddau – 22km | 1300m ascent | 8-9 hours. A long, remote day taking in the final seven summits of the challenge.
