If you missed the spring opener, we offer this iconic 52km (32 mile) circuit as a bespoke private challenge for groups, charities, or corporate teams throughout the year. The Llangollen Round is a well-established and scenic trail ascending all of the major hills and summits that surround the town. This circuitous route combines high mountain terrain with outstanding historical sites, aiming to complete the full loop in under 12 hours. THE ROUTE Starting and finishing in the Dee Valley village of Trevor, the route ascends approximately 2000m. Stand-out features include Thomas Telford’s incredible Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the Horseshoe Pass, Trevor Rocks, and the high point of Moel Fferna at 630m.
