PRIVATE MOUNTAIN OBJECTIVE Bring us the objective. This is for longer, rougher or more unusual mountain days that do not fit neatly into a standard guided day. A long traverse. An old guidebook line. A range you want to cross in one push. A strange summit list. An unfinished project. Something you have been thinking about for years. YOUR OBJECTIVE Every booking starts with the idea rather than a fixed route. Examples include the Full Rhinogydd Traverse, Cwm Pennant Horseshoe, Welsh 1000m Summits, Paddy Buckley sections, long Carneddau, Aran or Moelwynion traverses, obscure summit lists and rough off-track journeys through places such as the Migneint, Arenig and Dduallt. If the idea needs shaping, that is part of the service. THE PLANNING We will look at the route, distance, terrain, timings, escape options, logistics and weather before the day. On the mountain, the objective remains conditional. Route choice, pacing and decisions evolve around the conditions and the people involved.
