Private Scrambling Day

PRIVATE SCRAMBLING DAY A private Grade 1 scrambling day built around your experience, confidence and the conditions. This can be a specific objective such as Crib Goch or Tryfan, a progression day across several pieces of scrambling terrain, or simply a chance to become more capable on steep and exposed ground. THE DAY Possible objectives include Crib Goch, Tryfan North Ridge, Moel Siabod’s Daear Ddu Ridge, Nantlle Ridge, southern Carneddau ridges and quieter Grade 1 terrain across Eryri. The exact route can be adapted around weather, experience and how you are moving on the day. WHY PRIVATE? Private scrambling gives us more freedom to choose terrain around you. For some people that means completing a long-held objective. For others it means spending more time on movement, footwork, route choice and managing exposure before progressing onto bigger ridges. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE You should have reasonable hill fitness and be comfortable on steep, rough mountain ground. Previous scrambling experience is useful but not always necessary. This service covers Grade 1 terrain. For Grade 2/3 scrambling, roped mountaineering or climbing, choose Rock Climbing & Advanced Scrambling. WHAT’S INCLUDED A full private scrambling day with Jacob or Rich. Movement coaching, route choice, pacing and mountain judgement throughout the day.
