2026 Open Group Places Available The 2026 Mountain Craft Welsh 3000s 3-Day open-group programme is almost fully booked. There is currently 1 place available on the final 2026 open-group date: Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 August 2026 No further public 3-Day open-group dates are currently planned for 2026. The Welsh 3000s 3-Day is a guided attempt to complete all 15 Welsh 3000ft peaks over three mountain days. It gives the route more breathing room than the 24-hour challenge, but it is still a serious undertaking. Expect long mountain days, rough ground, exposed scrambling on Crib Goch, technical sections in the Glyderau, tired legs, changing weather and a lot of mountain terrain to cover. This is best suited to people with good hill fitness, recent mountain walking experience and a willingness to keep moving steadily over consecutive days. The route, pace, logistics and weather decisions are managed carefully throughout, with the aim of giving the team the best possible chance of completing all 15 peaks safely and enjoyably. Private 3-Day Welsh 3000s Attempts Outside the final open-group date, I may consider a limited number of private weekday Welsh 3000s 3-Day attempts for suitable clients. These are not public open-group events. They are private guided traverses for individuals, pairs, or small groups who want to take on the full route with the plan shaped around their fitness, experience, availability and the weather window. Guide price: 1:1 private 3-Day attempt: from £950 2 people: from £1,250 total 3 to 4 people: by suitability, from £1,500 total Private attempts are by enquiry only. I may decline or reshape the booking if I do not think the route, weather window, fitness or group experience is suitable.
