Here is the reality: this is not a rehearsed tourist trail. It is a live reconnaissance day where you’ll walk alongside a professional Mountain Leader, interpreting the contours, finding the line, and navigating complex terrain in real time. ⸻ THE ROUTE: Starting deep in the Cambrians, we will tackle the sprawling massif of Pumlumon Fawr. Expect wild moorland, deep bog, and a featureless plateau where micro-navigation is essential. You’ll need strong hill fitness and resilience for rough, boggy terrain. Full waterproofs with taped seams (10,000mm+ hydrostatic head) are mandatory.
