ROCK CLIMBING & ADVANCED SCRAMBLING Private technical mountain days for rock climbing, multi-pitch climbing and Grade 2/3 scrambling. These days are led by Rich, Mountain Craft’s Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI), and are designed for objectives that sit beyond standard Grade 1 scrambling. THE DAY The exact focus is built around your experience and what you want to achieve. Days can include advanced mountain scrambling, classic rock routes, introductory outdoor climbing, multi-pitch climbing, roped scrambling or learn-to-lead coaching. Skills can include movement on steeper ground, route choice, ropework, traditional gear placement, anchors, stance management and lead judgement. Technical equipment including helmets, harnesses, ropes and climbing protection is provided where required. WHO IT’S FOR This is the right option if you want to progress beyond normal Grade 1 scrambling or spend a day focused specifically on rock climbing and technical mountain terrain. If your main objective is Crib Goch, Tryfan North Ridge, Nantlle Ridge, Daear Ddu or general Grade 1 progression, choose Private Scrambling Day instead. WHAT’S INCLUDED A full private technical day led by Rich. Route and objective planning around your experience and the conditions. Technical coaching, movement, route choice and mountain judgement throughout the day. Pre-event advice covering kit, weather and logistics. GUIDE PRICES 1 person: from £395 2 people: from £425 3–4 people: by request where the objective and appropriate ratio allow. Final pricing depends on the route, group and technical scope.
