Rock, Climbing & Advanced Scrambling Private technical days for rock climbing, multi-pitch climbing, learn-to-lead skills and Grade 2/3 scrambling. This is the right option if your objective sits beyond standard Grade 1 scrambling. It can include introductory outdoor climbing, movement on real rock, multi-pitch climbing, roped scrambling, learn-to-lead coaching, or advanced scrambling on steeper ground. These days are MCI-led where required and delivered by Rich, our trusted Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor. Technical safety equipment is included where required, including helmets, harnesses, ropes and climbing protection. Potential focus areas include advanced scrambling, classic mountain lines, multi-pitch climbing, traditional gear placement, stance management, anchor building, ropework, route choice and lead judgement. If you are mainly looking for Crib Goch, Tryfan North Ridge, Moel Siabod’s Daear Ddu Ridge, the Nantlle Ridge, the southern Carneddau ridges or general Grade 1 confidence, choose Scrambling Confidence Day instead.
