GROUPS & ORGANISATIONS
Mountain projects for companies, charities, clubs and private groups.
Mountain Craft works with groups and organisations who need more than a standard guided mountain day. That might be a supported Welsh 3000s attempt, a fundraising challenge, a multi-day journey, a scrambling programme or a completely bespoke mountain project.
Rather than simply supplying a guide, we can take responsibility for the mountain side of the project as a whole. Depending on what you are planning, that can include route design, staffing, participant information, transport and logistics, mountain support, contingency planning and delivery.
BUILT AROUND THE PROJECT
Larger mountain events usually become complicated quite quickly. Group ability can vary, transport needs coordinating, several instructors may be required, weather can force changes, and somebody still has to make sure everyone knows where they need to be and what they need to bring.
Mountain Craft can bring those elements together into one plan, with one point of contact from the early stages through to delivery.
We work with companies, charities, clubs and larger private groups. Some projects are based around a known objective such as the Welsh 3000s, while others are designed around a broader goal, fundraising target, progression programme or journey.
Typical work could include supported mountain challenges, multi-day routes, fundraising events, private scrambling programmes, point-to-point journeys or projects requiring multiple instructors and additional mountain support.
For a straightforward private mountain day with a smaller group, Private Guiding will usually be the better fit.

Each project is quoted individually according to group size, duration, staffing, logistics and the level of support required. You don't need to have every detail worked out before getting in touch. Tell us roughly what you are trying to achieve, who it is for and when you are considering, and we can work from there.
